Explore a variety wood carving techniques with Ellen Starr using a micro carver, in this class new to the Paramount Studios! Wood artist Ellen Starr will introduce an assortment of tools, basic cuts and sanding techniques used to successfully and safely work with a micromotor. Ellen will also demonstrate a variety of texturing and detailing options throughout the workshop. Join us!

Materials and Tools List:
Please bring the following (required) items with you to class-
1.    A Power carving tool – Micromotor or a Foredom or Dremel with a flexshaft, and speed control.

3/32″ and 1/8″ collet for bits.
I will be working with a MICRO-PRO CHAMPION carver – there are cheaper brands of Micromotor carvers available online.
