This is a film festival celebrating French and Francophone films throughout February and March that is presented by the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University’s Languages and Cultures Department.
Throughout the months of February and March, CSB/SJU’s Languages and Cultures Department will be showing various French and Francophone films. The Tournées Film Festival consists of six films. All films will be shown at CSB/SJU campuses and are free to attend!
“Mr. Klein” will be shown at Saint John’s University’s Quad Building in room 346 at 6:30pm on March 22nd!
The fifth film in the series is “Mr. Klein” which premiered in 1976 and was directed by Joseph Losey. Set in Nazi-occupied Paris, Mr. Klein works as an art dealer until a doppelganger and misunderstanding bring the police into his life.
All films are subtitled in English.
The Tournées Film Festival is made possible with the support of Albertine Cinematheque, a program of Face Foundation and Villa Albertine, with support from the CNC / Centre National du Cinema, and SACEM / Fonds Culturel Franco-Américain.
