Buffalo Community Orchestra opens its 29th season with some of the most well known and loved overtures. An overture, by definition, means an introduction to something more substantial. In music, an overture is an orchestral piece at the beginning of an opera, suite, play, oratorio, or other extended composition. Immerse yourself in many famous and well recognized overtures, there will be something for everyone. Come and enjoy this free concert and see how many of the overtures you recognize!
