Create your own unique bud vases in this fun class. Students will experience the creativity of working with pliable clay slabs which can be stamped or incised with decorative accents. The slabs are then formed into cylinders and finished off with a circular or oval slab for the base.

Time and materials will allow for students to make 2-3 vases. The height of the vase is limited to 8 inches due to stability of the vase and available kilns space. Lots of flexibility for design, since we are working with wet clay

During the class we will discuss glaze combinations and the students will fill out a color card, so the instructors can glaze the vases once they have been bisque fired. The vases will be glaze fired and available for pick-up at AHFS two weeks after class.
