‘’Come Try It” classes offer a short introduction to clay.
‘’Come Try It” classes offer a short introduction to clay. Each session is two hours long and provides a hands-on experience that will culminate in a finished piece. These pieces will be glazed and fired in our kilns, and available to pick up within a month of the class.
All ‘Come Try it’ classes are first come, first serve. Please register and come try something new!
Come Try it, Potters Wheel
Saturday 10 am – noon
March 23, April 20 or May 18
Never tried the potter’s wheel? Well, come try our class on the potter’s wheel. By the end of your 2 hour class each participant will have a piece made on the wheel….maybe with a little help from us too! After the class, we will bisque, glaze and glaze fire everyone’s pieces. Participants will be contacted to come pick up their finished pottery at a later date.

JD Jorgenson is a fiscal year 2024 recipient of a Arts Education grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
JD Jorgenson will offer a series of in person ceramic education classes and workshops for a variety of experience levels. These offerings will be for new and returning audiences.
