Minnesota Art Educators: Local Experience, Global Connections

Presented by Paramount Theatre Education and Outreach Program at Paramount Visual Arts Center

In collaboration with Paramount Visual Arts Center, and funded by the Minnesota State Arts Board’s Arts Access program, Northern Clay Center presents a series of intensive ceramic workshops for Minnesota art educators. Join ceramic artist/educator Ursula Hargens (Minneapolis, MN) and local ceramic artist Bill Gossman (New London, MN) in this 2-day, Paramount-hosted workshop designed to enrich Minnesota Art Educators’ existing classroom curriculum and resources, as well as deepen and inspire their own studio practice. This particular session will include demonstrations and hands-on instruction, lesson plans for your classroom, as well as historical and social context, with special attention to Danish ceramics.

The Perpich Center for the Arts will provide CEU credits to Minnesota Art Educators who attend this particular workshop.
