The St Cloud Film Fest takes place over seven days in a historic theatre on the banks of the Mississippi River. The downtown art scene is a hub for the surrounding artistic community. Many local visual artists have exhibitions on display along St. Germain Street and 5th Avenue. Our judges award the following – Grand Jury Prize, Jury Prize, Best Documentary, Best Animation, Best Avant-Garde, Best Short-Short (under 5 minutes), Audience Favorite, and Most Promising Young Artist (for K-12 students).

Parking Around PP5
There is metered street parking and metered lots near our location on 5th Ave, and next to House of Pizza restaurant. Meters are monitored until 6pm Mon-Fri and FREE on Sat and Sun. There are also two Parking Ramps: one connected to the Courtyard by Marriott and also one across the street behind Herberger’s Department Store. Click here for an arial map of the area. **PARKING UPDATE** There is NO PARKING on either side of 5th Avenue between West St. Germain and 1st Street S AFTER 8pm on Thursday’s, Friday’s and Saturday’s. This is a new rule so watch for signage. Most vehicles are towed promptly at 8pm. Please be aware and if you have questions, ask a bartender for more information.
