Minnesota Center Chorale, along with the Cantabile Choristers, present a concert highlighting music as a powerful medium for building bridges and connecting with each other. Music can also help hearts to heal and mend in times of uncertainty and conflict. At this concert, we explore the meaning of peace in our world, in our nation, in our cities and in our homes. Including selections by: Ames, Caldwell/Ivory, Clausen, Donnelly & Strid, Gray, Kallmann, Mendelssohn, Papoulis, Sandström, Walker, and a premiere of "Prayer of Saint Francis", by local composer, Tony Kapinos. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Central MN Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
