Are you a teen-age musician? Are you looking for the BEST two weeks of your summer vacation? School of Rock is for YOU! Connect with other teen musicians in grades 6-12 to form a rock band. You will work with professional musicians including Jeff Engholm, Mark Hasbrouck, Mitchell Johnson and Jeff and Tommy Vee to learn how to work together as a band, break down a song, learn individual parts and put it altogether to create a performance you won’t forget. At the end of the two-week camp, everyone rocks together at the Paramount Theatre for a professional grade concert including expert sound and lighting. This camp is open to guitarists, bassists, drummers, keyboardists, and string and horn players. Vocalists who are comfortable performing as soloists are welcome to enroll without an instrument. Rockers must have one year experience on their instrument and bring own instruments/ equipment each day to the camp (keyboards will be provided).

There is a limit of 10 drummers, 10 bass guitar players and 20 lead/rhythm guitar players and 20 vocalists. If these spots are filled please enroll on the waiting list just in case positions become available. (Last year, all the students on the waiting list were able to participate).
