St. Cloud, MN is home to one of 90 different Art-o-Mat machines located across the globe. Ours can be found in the St. Cloud River’s Edge Convention Center, second floor. The machine is managed and stocked by the St Cloud Arts Commission. Jennifer Hargrave Penzkover has a stock of starter kits for any artist interested in creating work that is sized appropriately for these art-dispensing machines and she is offering a few of them to us local artists!

The process of getting your art in an Art-o-Mat machine begins by making a prototype. Artists who make an appropriate prototype for these machines can mail them into Art-o-Mat. After that, Art-o-Mat sends you a set of 50 cases for your art, you fill them up and send them back and your work will be distributed across the globe to be included in other communities’ Art-o-Mat machines. Artists sell through Art-o-Mat on a consignment of $2.50 per piece. It’s a fun way to engage other communities and make a little money while you’re at it.
