They’re usually in the audience, but tonight they’re on stage. Ordinary Folk’s music brings to mind the days when people made their own music for entertainment. The trio (Gary Jorgensen, Phyllis Jorgensen, and Dave Rogers) offers instrumental songs and dance tunes played on a variety of folk instruments: hammered dulcimer, guitar, fiddle, banjo, mountain dulcimer, mandolin and bowed psaltery. “No singing,” they promise, “we’re just ordinary folk!
