Music genres covered include country, rock, hip hop, folk, indy-pop, and everything in between. Solo acts up to full bands hailing from all over central Minnesota will fill the stages.

Our Variety Show is filled with wowing performances exhibiting comedy, modern dance, acrobatics, drag, hip hop, chair dance, and alternative and classic burlesque.

Our bazaar features local, handmade works from talented vendors and MORE live music!

Tickets for the event are in the form of a commemorative button. They can be purchased at the venues or on the Common Roots website for $10. T-shirts are also available for $20 or a combination of the two for $25. Wearing any 2019 Common Roots swag at participating downtown businesses will also entitle you to discounts during the month of August through Labor Day.
