The St. Cloud Symphony Orchestra’s 2017-2018 “Season of Stories” concludes with musical legends “West Side Story” and “Scheherazade”, two of the most powerful and enduring love stories of all time.
The St. Cloud Symphony Orchestra will close its 2017-2018 Season of Stories with Rimsky Korsakov’s epic “Scheherazade”; lovers swoon, ships crash, and the immortal powers of music and story capture our imaginations. Opening the program will be the Overture to “West Side Story” by Leonard Bernstein, followed by the Petite Suite by Debussy, and Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 2, Mvt. 1 performed by the 2018 Young Performer Competition winner Stephen Kuebelbeck.
