Experience Level: Some prior experience required

Join us for this exciting one-day workshop with professional potter Suze Lindsay, as she shares her techniques to throw and alter forms made on the wheel and then decorate them with her unique style of surface design!

Suze will be demonstrating throwing and altering techniques in the morning, with a slide lecture about approaches to surface in the late morning/early afternoon. We will conclude the day with a slip decorating demonstration showing different techniques using slip on greenware and hands-on experiences!

*Participants should bring three pieces of greenware to experiment techniques! We are encouraging students to explore surface decoration techniques on two of their own pieces and then exchange one for someone else’s to experiment with!
