Maine Prairie Studio is the pottery studio of Megan and JD Jorgenson, located in Kimball, Minnesota. Our studio aims to nurture creativity and elevate the ceramic arts through community education for rural Minnesotans. Additionally, we support local, regional and national artists through assistantships, retreats and residencies.

JD Jorgenson is a fiscal year 2024 recipient of a Arts Education grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.

JD Jorgenson will offer a series of in person ceramic education classes and workshops for a variety of experience levels. These offerings will be for new and returning audiences.
