The Minnesota Association of Community Theatres is a statewide volunteer run organization which holds meetings, workshops, festivals and other events throughout the state of Minnesota.

We operate on a two year cycle. In the even numbered years we put on FAST Fest, a non-adjudicated festival of 20 minute plays. In odd numbered years we produce MACT Fest, which is an adjudicated festival of 60 minute plays which is part of the AACTFest cycle. Along with the performances at MACT Fest, there are workshops and networking events.

We provide our member theatres with free postings of their performances, auditions and other events on our website. They may also list items they have for sale or rent and job postings.

We provide our individual members with free postings offering their services as directors, choreographers, designers and any other positions that may be useful to community theatres.

We also provide free theatrical performance listings for Minnesota’s K-12 schools.
