Pianist Ann DuHamel’s performances have been praised as poetic and “… a delight for the ears and the soul” and she has been hailed as a “forward thinking classical pianist.” In response to Ann’s latest project, Prayers for a Feverish Planet, composers in more than 35 countries sent more than 170 new and recently composed music about the climate crisis. She selected more than 60 pieces for piano and piano/electronics by composers on six continents (including St. Cloud composer Kristian Twombly) on the themes of water, grief/anxiety, shadows and light, time, human “progress,” trees, hope, and more. Ann has performed in 17 countries and is in demand as a collaborative pianist with chamber musicians and soloists.
