Come join in the festivities and learn about the legend of Lucia, the symbol of light and hope to humanity. You will see the 2018 Lucia enter the sanctuary wearing a white gown and glowing crown of candles- a tradition of young Lucias for six decades before her. You will also see King Knut, Lucia’s escort, and learn about his Scandinavian heritage.

*Our program this year will include the Svenskarnas Dag Girls Choir. This choir is dedicated to the preservation of Swedish heritage through the performance of traditional Swedish music.

Following the program, all guests are invited to a Swedish breakfast of traditional sweets, potato sausage, oranges, lingonberries, juice and coffee.

There is no charge to attend, but a free will donation is accepted.
