Alasdair Fraser, long regarded as Scotland’s premier fiddle ambassador, and the sizzlingly-talented cellist Natalie Haas share the stage with the full CSB/SJU Orchestra. In traditional Scottish music, the fiddle and the cello were the dance band of choice. Alasdair Fraser and Natalie Haas have been reviving the old pairing with driving, dancing rhythms and improvising on the melodies and grooves of Scottish tunes.
