It has been too long since we’ve hosted John Gorka, and we’re very pleased to welcome him back. Since he won a New Folk Award at Kerrville in 1984, John has spent nearly four decades touring while also making more than a dozen recordings, solo and with Lucy Kaplansky and Eliza Gilkyson. When he’s not singing his own songs, they’re being performed by the likes of Mary Chapin Carpenter, Nanci Griffith, Mary Black and Maura O’Connell.
