MAKESHIFT

Once a month the Bindery will host a day long open studio ahead of ‘Do Art’, Visual Arts Minnesota’s monthly artist meet-up, also held here at the Bindery.

Makeshift is an opportunity for artists to converge on a community space and work on projects that may require more than an invested evening of self guided art making. Come early in the day to begin working and close out the day with VAM’s ‘Do Art’ meet up! Here you can sculpt, paint, spray, cast/mold-make, frame, design, collage, assemble, document, plan, crit, and converse/engage. We encourage you bring any additional resources you feel you may need. Running suttles to and from Mathew Hall is possible if there is a need.

There is no cost to attend.

The Bindery is located at 600 Mayhew Lake Rd NE, St. Cloud MN 56304. Park at Door D. Call or text with any questions! Hope to see you there!

The Bindery is not on a bus line so for anyone interested in coming early and in need of transportation I will be at the Good Earth Food Co-op, 2010 Veteran’s Dr. St. Cloud, at 12:00pm to provide carpool. I’ll be the fellow with painted pants. We’ll leave for the Bindery at 12:45.
