Mosaic Trivet with Laura Ruprecht

Many of you have admired our Median Fish over the years, or taken pictures of our awesome huge Smallmouth Bass Planter, which graces the East Entrance of the MCC in summer. You’ve asked for mosaic classes, and we heard you!

Thanks to a grant from the CMAB, we are able to bring renowned area mosaic artist Laura Ruprecht here to share her skills and talent with us. We will be embarking on a public mosaic project with Laura next spring/summer. We’ll need local artists to help who’ve learned some basic techniques. This is your doorway into that project.

This will be a one day intensive workshop. At the end you’ll have leanred the glass on glass technique, and will take home a beautiful 8 x 8 trivet. There will be a break for lunch, so this will be a great way to meet new creative friends too.

We will be offering intermediate classes next spring, so don’t miss out on this entry level class so you can take part in all the exciting mosiacs to come!
