Peter Mayer is a songwriter’s songwriter (see comments by David Wilcox and Janis Ian below), a serious guy (“Holy Now”) who is also pretty funny (“Driving with My Knee”), and a bunch of click-stops in between (“Dr. Seuss,” “Ordinary Day,” “Brand New Harley”). We’ll have a whole evening to see how much of his range he can cover. (By the way, this is not the other Peter Mayer, or the other other Peter Mayer–this is our Minnesota Peter Mayer.
