The exhibition is in partnership with St. Cloud State University’s College of Liberal Arts and School of the Arts.
With every gesture we leave a mark, an intentional declaration defying ephemerality, a futile attempt at an eternal monument to our brief existence. Through expressing unrealized alter egos, personifying tedium and perpetuity, and repurposing discarded materials, these lifeless things create meaning through and despite the awareness of cosmic decay. With each mark we make, we reach toward an unidentifiable beyond.
