Tournées Film Festival - "Le Corbeau"

The 2020 Tournées Film Festival at the College of St. Benedict and St. John’s University is screening the film “Le Corbeau” or “The Raven” in the Little Theater, Quad 346 (SJU) at 7:00 pm! Directed by filmmaker Henri-Georges Clouzot, who is well-remembered for his work in the thriller film genre, tells the story of a French village doctor who becomes the target of a smear campaign. The letters, signed by the mysterious writer “Le Corbeau,” accuse him of having affairs and practicing abortions. Soon enough, the entire town is targeted as well. This event is sponsored by the CSBSJU Department of Languages and Cultures and the French Club. An introduction will be made by CSB senior Sophia Modeas, and there will be a discussion following the film.
