Bandshell Mural

The Bandshell Mural is located on the bandshell in Sinclair Lewis Park. It is a 3D musical interpretation, as well as a likeness of Alan Raitor, a respected musician and music teacher in Sauk Centre.

Muralists Roger Reinardy and Mike Weisser, along with Roger’s sister Susan Hartigan helped this mural come to life. Muralists approached the city about creating this mural in the city park. City officials and several grants assisted in this project, as it also included restoration of the bandshell as well as the addition of better lighting. Community Legacy Foundation of Sauk Centre received a $10,000 Public Art Grant in support of the mural.
