A hotel for the nondisabled elderly filled with a mixed bag of guests including a wise-guy, an ogling emcee, a lady who lives to complain in letters to high authorities, a man from Chile who conducts the mamba, a nice-looking woman with a serious family problem, a former necktie salesman and a lady who only watches TV. Then, a new guest arrives and the house rules and old age idleness goes out the window! What is it? It’s the play ''My Old Friends”, presented by GNTC in February of 2012, with the message ‘getting old isn’t for the faint of heart’. The Tony-nominated show tells the story of each unique character, and is a singing and dancing gem that featured legendary comedienne Imogene Coca. Everyone, even juniors under 60, will enjoy this charmer about the geriatric set.
