    Main Series

The Roe Family Singers bill themselves as a "Good-Time, Old-Time Hillbilly band" that plays "a mix of original music and contemporary takes on old-time, traditional, and gospel tunes." Our stage may wind up accomodating as many as seven players wielding guitar, Autoharp, banjo, fiddle, jug, washboard, kazoo, saw, mando, and bass. Oh, and singing. We are promised a ruckus. (They received a "World's Best" awards at the 28th and 30th annual Battle of the Jug Bands, so count on it.)

". . . playing with bursting hearts and the glee of clicking your heels while skipping over brimstone. Their expanded band, including saw and jug, fit together like coffee and bacon. . . . Part of what make them such a joy to watch is just to see the next direction
they'll take. Their set soared and chugged and fell inward, with all the revelry and thankfulness of a band of sinners just happy to sneak out another day before God cuts them down." --Logan Adams, TC Daily Planet
