Discover the possibilities in working with clay off the pottery wheel with Megan Mitchell! Learn how to use the slab roller to slump, drape, and carve clay, as well as creating texture and surface design. We will

explore coil building and touch on foundational skills for creating sculpture. Lastly, we will learn about successful glazing and staining techniques.

2.) Item you would like to create texture with
3.) Ice cream pail for water
    4.) Old towel
    5.) Lock for your locker
6.) Clay: Your first bag of clay is included in the cost of tuition, but depending on the size and number of pieces you create you may need to purchase more. We have a variety to choose from, ranging in price from $12-$25 for a 25 pound bag.
